ABLE ILS Integration Services

ABLE is becoming the standard for integrating ILS systems with binding preparation modules. ABLE currently integrates with Ex-Libris and Innovative Interfaces Inc. Systems. And, we are soon to be adding to our ILS Integration Vendor list. Keep watching this site for the news about our integration services.

ABLE's Z-link and A-link tools enable libraries to import binding information from their Z39.50 database or from any exported file such as Excel, Access, SQL or tab delimited. ABLE brings Marc information in to a binding record with proper formatting of title, author and call number--automatically. These features effectively eliminate data entry (and errors) at the library for monographs--all with the swipe of a barcode.

LARS Integration

In addition to supporting our native ABLE format, ABLE can read and write Lars disks, so it can easily work as the Library Binding module for any of your Library clients--if you are a Lars Bindery--or if you have an in-house system

ABLE™ - Library Binding Software

ABLE™ 6 is the second generation library binding preparation system using Internet technology. ABLE™ links libraries' binding databases with binders; facilitating the exchange of information and automating many of the activities associated with library binding. Previous versions of ABLE™ have been in service since 1985. ABLE™ 6 Library and Library Web Access are in service since 1998 at over 1,200 libraries. Both configurations have received rave reviews.
