Running ABLEä on Windows XP
Windows
XP no longer ships with Microsoft Java, which is required to run ABLEä 6. In
addition, certain installations of Windows XP contain the Sun Java Plug-in,
which is incompatible with ABLEä 6. It is therefore necessary to
perform the following steps to get ABLEä working:

Running ABLE™ on Windows XP Service Pack 2 requires
additional options to be set depending upon your current ABLE™ configuration. Follows steps below.
All Installation Types
Windows XP
SP2 has a pop-up blocker enabled by default.
This pop-up blocker will prohibit ABLE™ reports from being displayed on
screen. To allow pop-ups for ABLE™
perform the following steps:

Standalone ABLE™ Installations
Standalone
installations of ABLE™ require one additional setting to be enabled in order to
run. Follows the steps below.
1.
In Internet
Explorer go to the Tools menu and select “Internet Options…”
2.
Click on the
“Advanced” tab.
3.
Check off the
option that is shown in the picture below.

4.
Click OK.
5.
Run ABLE™.
