FAA
Flight Inspection Systems

|
FAA Flight Inspection ensures the integrity of
instrument approaches and airway procedures that constitute our
National Airspace System infrastructure and the FAA's international
commitments.
The FAA
accomplishes this through the airborne inspection of all space and
ground-based instrument flight procedures and the validation of
electronic signals in space that are transmitted from approximately
13,500 various navigation systems.
PCI has been developing FAA Flight Inspection web enabled systems
for over 5 years.
Two typical application screens are presented on the left. The
first is for managing and scheduling flight inspections for each a
navigation aid (e.g. ILS, MLS) at a certification site (e.g. airport
runway).
The second application is an electronic fight log used to schedule
and manage inspection aircraft and crews.
